Floating Hydropneumatic fender is used in catamarans, semi-submersible platforms, and drilling rigs for a long time. This floating hydropneumatic fender is filled with water and air inside to make it vertically installed against submerged hulls with a counterweight. It’s always regarded as a buffer to reduce shock in between due to its excellent performance of great elasticity and abrasion-resistance.
Floating hydropneumatic fenders are made of natural rubber and tire cord reinforcement in the shape of cylindrical, which is strong enough to withstand external forces and severe weather conditions.

Floating Hydropneumatic Fender Structure
① Outer rubber layer
This outer rubber compound is strong enough to protect the inner layer and synthetic-cord layer from the damage of external forces and severe weather conditions due to its high elasticity and abrasion resistance.
② Synthetic-tire-cord layer
The Synthetic-tire-cord layer is made of synthetic-tire-cord fabrics, compared with synthetic canvas fabric and synthetic belt fabric, this reinforcement layer performs better in fatigue-resistance and pressure-holding.
③ Inner rubber layer
The inner rubber layer is designed to seal the air inside the fender.
